1. Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of?

One project I’m especially proud of is “Libertango”, my track featured on Tranceplayer: Ignition 2026 by Exist in Sound. It’s special to me because it combines my Argentine background with electronic music and Trance influences.
I wanted to take an element that is strongly associated with Argentine musical culture and reinterpret that energy through my own production style. Seeing the track become part of an international compilation alongside other Trance artists was a very rewarding experience.

 

2. What's the biggest misconception about Producing?

I think one of the biggest misconceptions is that producing is mainly about having expensive gear, plugins, or knowing certain technical tricks.

In reality, the most important part is decision-making: arrangement, sound selection, dynamics, contrast, emotion, and knowing when something is actually finished. Technology gives you possibilities, but the producer still has to create the identity of the record.

 

3. How would you describe your production style?
I would describe my production style as energetic, melodic and detailed, with a strong focus on atmosphere and emotional progression. I like productions that work on a dancefloor but also have something memorable beyond the drop — whether that is a melody, a harmonic progression, a texture or a particular atmosphere.

Because I also work in mixing and mastering, I tend to pay a lot of attention to clarity, impact and how every element interacts in the mix.

 

4. What type of music styles do you usually Produce?

My main focus is Trance, including uplifting, progressive and more driving styles, but I also produce Techno, Progressive, House, Tech House and Melodic electronic music.

I enjoy moving between genres because techniques from one style often inspire ideas in another.

 

5. Analog or digital and why?

Mostly digital.

I love the flexibility of modern digital production because it allows me to move quickly between sound design, arrangement, mixing and mastering while keeping everything recallable.

At the same time, I really appreciate the character and imperfections associated with analog equipment, so I often use plugins and processing techniques that recreate some of that behaviour.

For me, the important thing isn’t whether something is analog or digital — it’s whether it gives the track the sound and emotion it needs.

 

6. What do you like most about Trance music?

The combination of emotion and energy.

Trance can be extremely powerful on a dancefloor while still being melodic and emotional. A good breakdown can create tension and anticipation, and then the drop can completely transform that emotion into energy.

I also love how much storytelling is possible within a Trance track. It can feel like a journey rather than just a sequence of sections.

 

7. How long have you been making music?
I’ve been producing music seriously for several years, with official releases going back to 2020.

Over that time my workflow and sound have changed considerably. Production became not only an artistic process for me, but also something I wanted to understand technically, which eventually led me deeper into mixing, mastering and sound engineering.

 

8. What's your typical work process?
I usually start with the main musical idea or the groove.

For Trance, that might be a melody, chord progression, bassline or rhythmic concept. Once the central idea works, I build the arrangement around it rather than trying to perfect every sound immediately.

After that I separate the process into stages: sound design, arrangement, detailed production, mixing and finally mastering.

I also like to reference the track frequently outside the studio, because something that sounds impressive while producing for several hours doesn’t always translate the same way when you hear it again with fresh ears.

 

9. Tell us about your studio setup.
My studio is built around a Mac mini M1, with a MOTU M2 audio interface and Yamaha HS8 monitors.

My main DAWs include Ableton Live, Logic Pro and Cubase, depending on the project and workflow I need.

Most of my sound design and processing is done in the box, using synthesizers and plugins such as Serum, Spire, Vital and a variety of mixing and mastering tools.

I also run Nautic Studio, where I work on production, mixing and mastering projects.

 

10. Can you share one production tip?
One of the most useful things I’ve learned is:

Solve problems at the source before trying to solve them with processing.

If a kick and bass don’t work together, another compressor or EQ isn’t always the answer. Sometimes changing the sound, octave, envelope, arrangement or timing will solve the problem much more naturally.

Good sound selection and arrangement make mixing much easier.

 

11. What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
Within Trance, I’m inspired by producers who are able to combine strong technical production with emotion and a recognizable identity. Artists such as Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren and Darren Porter have all influenced different aspects of the way I think about electronic music.

I’m also inspired by mixing and mastering engineers and by producers outside Trance, because I think some of the best ideas come from studying techniques beyond your own genre.
